Do you remember your first tournament?

What was your first tournament and what was your first prize that made you want to continue playing poker?

Some freeroll from BankrollMob with a $25 prize pool on pokerstars and about 10–15k players was my first experience when I just wanted to play poker — it didn’t matter if there were prizes or not. It was just fun, and definitely more interesting than playing with play money.

My first tournament was a small local freeroll — I didn’t win much, maybe around $20, but the excitement of going deep for the first time had me completely hooked. That feeling of outlasting players was priceless.

I remember the first freeroll tournaments, I won the top 1 over 20$ after over a month, then still lost everything but I really wanted to keep playing poker
