🕹️ 6. Take advantage of position
When you are in position (cutoff or button), take the opportunity to play more hands. Having position allows you to control the pot and make better post-flop decisions.

Strategy #7
📉 7. Don't go to war with marginal hands
Avoid getting involved in big pots with hands like KJ, Q10, or A9 off-suit, especially out of position. These hands look good, but they cause problems.

In a freeroll I would rather get busted out in the first five minutes than bubble, so yes, all-in with AK isn't a bad strategy.

Strategy #1
🎯 1. Play tight-aggressive at the start
At the first levels, many players go all-in. Avoid this mistake: play few hands, but aggressively (raising instead of just calling). - in my opinion there are always some loose callers that will try to bluff or go for draws here so i prefer put them on the spot All in before or after the flop. At least if I'm right I got paid and have a great start.

Many times it works to play aggressive from the start, but it is not always like that, sometimes you have to play a little passive and wait for the right moment, but I think it depends on each freeroll, from my point of view a CC freeroll is not the same as a satellite freeroll, or a free where more than 2 thousand players register, for me the strategy varied a little in how to start, when to play aggressive

Strategy #8

⏳ 8. Wait for the eliminations — they will come quickly
In freerolls, about 30% to 50% of players are eliminated within 20 minutes. Avoid unnecessary risks and wait for the table to “clear naturally.”

Estratégia #1
🎯 1. Jogue tight-aggressive no início
Nos níveis iniciais, muitos jogadores vão all-in.
However, we cannot evaluate the play based on the outcome of a specific hand. We must consider that it may have worked once, but in the long run it may not be profitable.

In fact, in CC Freerolls, players tend to bluff less and take less risks at the start of tournaments.

You need to play a lot of hands from the beginning, because there are a lot of blinds and the opportunity to multiply your stack, and then more tightly, because in one hand you can take more chips with a good card due to the large ante and blinds.

Hey chris,
to survive a freeroll tournament, play tight and patient in the early stages, focusing on strong hands and avoiding unnecessary risks, then transition to a more aggressive, exploitative style in the middle and late stages to steal blinds and target weaker players, and finally prioritize survival and good decisions in the final stages by playing tight again, especially around the money bubble.

Gl to you,
Natox

Position plays by people with air seem frequent so can see top pair to the river for value.

Start playing more solidly.

Shorter range.

Don't get involved in hands with too many players.

But we must remember that in the beginning, many rely on luck and pay almost everything, and sometimes they get it right.

Strategy #9

🔄 9. Adjust when the blinds start to rise

After the initial levels, start expanding your range slightly and stealing blinds, especially against players who just call and don't react.

I believe it's essential to first
distinguish between 6-max and
9-max tables. Secondly, consider
whether you're playing deep-stacked
or short-stacked. In 6-max games, you
can play looser and incorporate more
bluffs, whereas 9-max tables require
a tighter approach. With short stacks
you can go all-in with strong hands
in early stages, but with deep stacks,
it's advisable to maintain some stack
preservation for later streets.

The tight-aggressive tactic works great at the very beginning, but in freerolls I just wait for good cards and punish the limpers. I don't have to bluff — people give me anything anyway. As soon as the chaos subsides, I open up and start playing more spots.

The strategy is circumstantial according to the opponents and their method of play at the beginning. If you get a table with aggressive opponents, you should expect to have solid hands according to your strategic position at the table so that each call or raise has a higher percentage of success on community cards.

There aren't many tactics in freerolls, when you have a strong hand you have to play aggressive, because most players call with any weak hand.
And I don't make a lot of bluffs, you have to find the right spot.

The number of players is indeed an important factor to consider. Thanks for the tip.
