In tournaments, flips become unavoidable once stacks get shallow. For me, the BB count matters more than the hand itself.
20+ BBs: I try to avoid pure flips and play more post-flop, unless there’s strong ICM or a clear edge.
15–20 BBs: I’m more willing to take flips, especially from late position or vs wider ranges.
10–15 BBs: Standard reshove/fold zone — flips are often correct and sometimes necessary.
<10 BBs: You can’t wait for premiums; you take the best +EV spot available.

• Pocket pairs (22+)
• Big aces (AJs+, AQ+)
• Broadways (KQ, KJs, QJs depending on position)
