UTG opens to $7, UTG+1 calls, folds to me in CO with AKhh and I make it $30. BB and UTG call. BB has $300, and UTG has $600. I cover.
Flop Kc8c7d. Checks to me, and I bet $45 into $95ish. BB calls, and UTG quickly makes it $295 by pushing out 3 stacks of red chips.
In a previous hand, he had opened 88 to $20 UTG against the same table lineup and approximately the same stack sizes, so I was really struggling to put him on a set. But he was pretty tight too, and the only hand I'd seen him showdown at this point was that 88 hand where he ended up flopping a set.
Anyway I tanked forever and jammed it in like I was born yesterday. BB folded and he basically made the fastest snap call I have ever heard in my life, and tabled 88. No sweat - 9 on the turn meant I was drawing dead.

Yeah - that really wasn't the thing to say right there.
Sand, no idea what your ranges are like playing zone, but especially in a game where you have felt like you're getting 3b incessantly and you can just fold and see the next hand, it can't hurt to tighten up a tad and guarantee that 3b's are less effective vs. you.

Not sure about 25nl but when I played on Stars I honestly thought my 200nl 6m zoom winrate was higher than my 50nl 6m zoom winrate because the quality of play was pretty similar and 50nl rake is so much higher.

6 max. I guess I should be a bit more specific. The main thing I have trouble with is how often I get 3bet pre, specifically from the blinds. I've tightened up, but it's still a frequent issue and difficult to deal with without reads.
What should my flatting range look like when facing a 3bet from the blinds? How about when I'm 3bet from a late position player (def should be a tighter range, but I still get 3bet often)? 4bet range in these spots?

Are you sure you're actually getting 3bet that much more and not just having selective memory? It's a pretty common thing to think everyone is so much better every time you move up. Usually though it's just a case of noticing what you're expectations are.

poker stars is going back to the pre rake hike model. Evidently traffic was effected enough to make the lower rake more profitable for them.

this is bovada right? are you downloading the HHs? you should be able to see every hand that 3bets you so come back with a range of OOP and IP 3bet freq and ranges and we can go from there
