Online is something more robotic for the simple reason that most players are doing other things alongside the game. Many also focus more and analyze each player's strategies. What do you all have to add?

I've only played live, 4 or 5 times; however, I prefer it. I played at the wsop in 2024 and had a good time, cashed in one event and played about 6, so no big wins, but the atmosphere is good, and most of the players at my tables were generally nice.

Of course, there were a couple of "odd" players, especially a lady who wore dark sunglasses and was prone to studying people and staring at them before playing her hand. She was a YouTuber and gave me her online account address. I lost it, but we did have a meal, and discussed her more than myself, interesting lady. Surprising the people you meet at live events, some honest or not, I think overall, are more trustworthy as you can judge them and not rely on their posts/ messages.

There are lots of nice people on CC, and I don't need to name them, you know who the good ones are (y)(y)

I prefer online poker; I can't afford to play live poker. Online, you can find tournaments with different buy-ins.

I play poker on weekends, in the evenings. I play at home, I play online. Playing live takes much more time than playing online, and I always have problems with free time.

Your experience is really cool!! A brainstorming session is always good for new cycles of friendship and for developing your way of playing and interpreting.

This is a key factor, but sometimes making a loop is interesting for new experiences to emerge.

Playing poker online is convenient and practical because it doesn't take long from one hand to the next hehehehe

I like live poker because of the thrill it gives me. I sit at the table and enjoy the atmosphere and the fact that I am part of it. Online poker is definitely more convenient, as I don't have to control my emotions (I can react to the turn and river without the risk of other players reading the joy or disappointment on my face). ;)

I prefer and enjoy online most of the time because that is in my comfort zone. Except when I play live with friends for a small buyin just for fun.I will never forget my friend callin an allin in the blind from the restroom when he heard another friend tried to steel his big blind with an allin preflop. He doubled up his stack from the restroom and when he came back to the table we all laughed and he continued to drink his vodka redbull drink.

For bigger buy in tournaments I prefer to play live poker. Usually the guarantees are bigger . Also, personally I just enjoy seeing the cards being dealt and holding the cards. I find in live tournaments you can tell who's a beginner player and some of them have obvious tells. I guess there's also less chance of bots taking your money.

For me, online poker has never been mechanical. I always play with concentration and don't get distracted by other things. If I have work to do, I simply skip the game. I don't like combining poker with anything else.

Online poker takes place in a cozy home environment where everything is familiar and familiar, and offline poker in a casino is sometimes unusual.

Both modalities have their merit. Online allows you to focus more and there's no risk of body expressions delivering your game. The live one, on the other hand, is all the emotion involved, butterflies in the stomach, fierce rivalry, and the most latent human failure. I like both modes, but online allows me to play more often.

Online : more hands/hour and more collusion.

Live : less hands played and live reads.

I don’t go to casinos because it breaks my heart to see the slot machine zombies.
