I can asure you that poker is this popular because of the money, if theres no money between less than 10% of players will keep playing it.

Poker is primarily about money for me. Of course, I always have the prize zone in mind when I'm playing. But I can't deny that I like poker, and I don't so much enjoy the process as I enjoy the fact that I can take my mind off my problems. ;)
