What's your New year's poker resolution 2026? So maybe goals, improvement areas or habits you are going to give up. I'm yet not sure about mine, could it be maybe something related to studying. 🤔

We can get back to this in December 2026 and see how it went. 🙂

Participate in CardsChat to exchange strategies.
Better control tilt and frustration.
Set realistic weekly/monthly profit goals.
Study more poker theory (GTO, ranges, advanced lines).

Great topic to start the year 🎇
Poker resolutions are always a mix of motivation and reality. Studying more, managing tilt better, and setting realistic goals seem to come up every year, but actually sticking to them is the real challenge. I also like the idea of linking poker improvement with lifestyle habits like sleep and exercise — those often get overlooked.
Would be interesting to come back at the end of 2026 and see which resolutions actually turned into habits 🙂

My purpose is to change my personal habit, to better concentrate on poker, to discipline myself, to do things right. Thank you for the question.

My 2026 poker resolution is more discipline and better study habits: review hands regularly, control tilt, stick to bankroll rules, and avoid autopilot sessions. Play less, but play smarter. ♠️

My goal is to play in bigger tournaments. I've always faced the challenge of having to withdraw my poker bankroll, so I have to start all over again from the bottom. This year, I hope to play in bigger tournaments. Good luck to everyone; I hope you achieve your goals and score a Big prize. 💣😎

My goal this year is to play more consistently and take this thing much more seriously as I normally take like 2 months off and come back.

2026 poker resolution is to switch from full-ring and play 6 max in 2026. Target volume of hands honestly not much of a clue/idea....let's aim for 100k+ hands in 2026 as only a rec/hobby player. That's over an avg of 2k hands/a week. Seems like a lofty target along with switching between full-ring to 6 max.

Cheers!!!
