I've been living in Colombia for a couple years and my Spanish is pretty good, but I've never actually gone to the casinos and to sit at the tables (one way to mitigate my risk is to keep Poker as a "vacation entertainment sport" instead of something I have access to daily). I'm sure as with most thing in Medellin they are pretty friendly to foreigners/English but I was curious for any native speaking players what the typical Poker terminology is for common actions at the table (i.e. call, raise, check, all-in, flop, turn, river, etc)

Or is Poker one of those things where Spanish has just adopted the English terminology?

I don't know Spanish terminology but I'm sure they will understand you if you use English one. I think it's known worldwide.

It is usually more common than it seems to find bilingual tables, but if you consider that many people play in their language since the tables are usually directly between friends. And that's how groups are created as such
