I'd say lucky coat all gamblers are superstitious to some point I think and if he runs good that coat for awhile might have a confirmation bias towards it

I had a leather coat that I wore to every session for almost 20 years, almost cried when it was beyond repair. Nothing to do with enough money to buy a new one, it was my big time good luck charm.

you're lucky if your lucky charm is stylish and can displayed with pride...my lucky piece of clothing, which I wore for the first time when I wrote an exam to get a promotion to management at work and was successful, is a pair of Michael Jordan boxer briefs...nobody sees them but me...I wear them for special events, and I was wearing them when I survived day 1 of the 2019 wsop Colossus, cashing in my one and only WSOP appearance.
