Is the type of player who bets any hand without caring about the consequences of the game a shark or a bad player?

Being overly aggressive can be a good or bad play depending quite a bit on the opponents you're facing.

Although I'd say if you do not care about pot control, your hand strength and the range of your opponent, it may be unprofitable in the long run.

It depends on the stack, but I think it's almost a bad play

Obviously he is a losing player, both in life and in poker we have to have balance and know how to dose things.

Usually yes, maniacs are losing players even though they can earn a bit of money in a short term, but technically if they are playing against someone who folds a lot it can be a good play if not overused.

Most often he is a bad player but it happens that he achieves a good result in the short term.

Neither. One who bets any hand without caring about the consequences of the game is NOT playing the game. He probably mistakenly registered but actually has something better to do & just wants to give his chips away.

It can be both a good player and a bad player, it all depends on what game he plays and what goals he sets for himself :)

It is more difficult to play with experienced players. Beginners can make the game more difficult solely due to their luck, but if you are experienced enough, you will most likely have a significant advantage.

A lot depends on the size of your stack, the opponents at the table and their style of play, the prize money. It's understandable that you can't get the strongest combination if you play every hand. So the most important thing is to read the board correctly and make the right decisions on it.

If you bet any hand I don't think it's good, it still depends on the stack, but most of the time you're risking more than you can win, not every day you can run with luck

Noob who wants to look like a shark.
If you watch live poker tournaments, you can see that even the real pros don't get in to play every hand, so I'd rather call them noobs. Although it's also true that you'll find the most all-in faces in every round on freerolls, for example. And some of them are able to win money that way...

That’s not a shark, that’s a wild fish — maybe even a maniac. A real shark picks their spots and plays smart, not just jamming chips in with any hand. Betting without thinking? That’s how bankrolls disappear fast.

"Shark" is nothing more than the fish that got lucky in poker online.

Just went all in with KK, the vilain had the 100% EV 64o. Big mistake of my part, clear lack of skill.
He flopped a 4 and 3x6s on the board, OF COURSE. That's not even a full house brah, thats a quadhouse.

Now, is he the fish or the shark? Really, doesn't matter. Math and statistics fundamentals matter to nothing into online poker.
They'll just give the pot to whoever they want, and that's it.

in my oppinion these are weak players. they are only strong in nowadays era, because people actually believing their story of being strong. you have a shark on a table? let him play and let him suffer the right time. it's just my oppinion. for some reason people think this style is the best one to play today. I just don't get it what is the point when multiply people on the table play loose aggressive. some of them WILL suffer!

When a player simply bets without thinking about the consequences, it means that there is no thought process. I sometimes wonder how they win thanks to pressure and luck.
