How many seats do you prefer to have on the tables you play on, and why does this have your personal preference?
This probably depends on the website/place as well. (10, 9, 8, 6, 4, heads-up, others..)
In what setting (cash-games/tournaments)?
I prefer to play 8 hyper max. Slow tournaments make me sleepy. Although most tournaments are fullring (9, 10 players). That's what you get!

6max

Was starting in full ring cash but now I only play 6max cash
In STTs 9-handed is okay, though

It depends on what games I am playing. For regular Holdem games I like to play 8 or 9 players. That way there is always a few weak players that you can take advantage of.

The tournaments I usually play have 6 or 9 players at the table.

I usually play in whatever is available for tournaments, and usually 6-max in cash games, because that's what I find is most widely available.

I prefer the 9 Ring table. Smaller amount of people im to much in the blinds. My blind play is one of my weaknesses so i enjoy that im not so much hands in the blinds. So i could use my normal table play to play such hands in which i enjoy and had a good vibe and im in my comfortzone. In the endphases of a tourney i could transform my game and enjoy the finaltable with less players as 9.

I prefer with 9 at the table, I think you can collect a better bankroll as you have more opponents for you to win the chips.
The only problem is the delay for some to play it online, live there is not that much time problem.

When I play cash games, I prefer short tables with 6 players. but when it comes to MTT, I'm more used to 8 player tables, I think it's the best balance.

Today, I prefer play against six opponents.

Because this table is more fast and normally youngsters less opponents against you in your hand.

I almost stopped playing cash! Because it's mostly 6 max tables, and I'm an mtt player, and in the tournament there are mostly 9 max tables and this bothers me!

I mostly play sng// MTT and its usually 9 or 8 which I like. Played on one site that had .4 max and 6 max tourneys it was ok but its an adjustment and I didn't play enough of those games to get comfortable with it

hi

8 or 9 people at the table are best for tournaments I talk about, I don't play anything else and I haven't tested

I prefer to play tournaments so nine or ten people at the table make me feel good. It helps to get me to play my favorite games. Good luck to those who play.

hi

10 players at the table, I think there are no more, but I may be wrong. Otherwise, with 10 people, it's best to YES
