I've been playing on the same site for months and it seems like I'm just losing. Will changing platforms help?

There's not real reason why it would....apart from you may start playing with renewed confidence. What would help is taking the CC 30 day poker course

Of course it does, it refreshes your mind and players play differently at different sites. You can change back when your "mood" for the old site comes back.

Careful... that sounds a lot like logic there. Probably something that 99% don't consider.

What do you call losing? Losing money? The most logical thing is that you always win once in a while and lose quite often.

It could help, the strength of the player pools varies amongst sites, you may be able find weaker players by looking at other sites.

In my experience the player pool plays differently at several sites so this could definitely be a game changer for you. Good luck!

Yup.
They all have different algorithms.
I am pretty certain that they program "fairness" into the game in different ways. Which in reality is not fair and is predictable to an extent. Being aware of this is an advantage.
Besides that of course the variance in people populating the site makes a huge difference.

Maybe, but it can go either way. I know that are days that no matter how good I play, I'm not going to win in a specific poker room. So usually on these days, I try to change the room and see if my results are better.

If by "results" you mean win more lose more then yes.

Nothing to do with algorithms or owt, just different players, different mindset

Yes, sites have different algorithms and player behavior also varies.

Player pools vary greatly, so your results may differ between sites. If your skill is poor though, then your results will usually be poor regardless. That is unless you are rigged to win. ;)

A very short message: what discipline do you play? MTT, cash, spins? I need to explain in more detail what I need to understand and help with. And basically, everyone is constantly losing; winning every day is simply unrealistic. Sometimes losing streaks last for six months. The main thing is to work on your game, and one fine day, everything will pay off in full.

Yeah, 100%! For example, back when PokerStars still had freerolls, I played for years and could barely ever make a final table — maybe twice at most. But on 888, I’ve won tournaments multiple times, not to mention reaching final tables pretty often. So yeah, once again, I’m speaking from my own experience.

I think you should try to improve your play by studying learning material, watching documentaries, tutorial videos. The sites are all the same- there is always a table - nine players, their decisions and your decisions - it's simple really don't make yourself a headache out of it.

Good afternoon, everyone. Well, certainly the ideal thing is to play on several different sites, because each one has different structures, and the players also vary a lot. For example, the sites where I play and have more ease in making a profit are WPT Global, 888 Poker, and PartyPoker.

The site where I have the most difficulty making a profit is Black Sheep Poker, which is part of the same skin as ACR, PokerKing, among others. On this specific site, I feel more difficulty in achieving positive results.

By playing on several sites, I clearly noticed this: I have more ease in making a profit on WPT Global, then on 888 Poker, and I am more or less tied with PartyPoker. For this reason, I consider it essential to play on different sites to identify which one you have more ease with.

If your game is the same, the fate will be the same.
