I didn't know the site until today, I saw them on freerollpass with freerolls with reasonably big prize pools, so I was just curious, wondering if people have experience with them

I like it ok only question is about the withdrawal process. Says you have to purchase to be able to withdraw. Now if one purchase means unlimited withdrawal I'm cool with that but if you can only withdraw as much as you purchase that ain't worth a damn!!

Well, the truth is that I have played for quite some time in this room and it is one of the rooms that gives no problem for withdrawals, no problems for deposits, it has a variety of tournament levels, I recommend it 100%.

What are the deposit and withdrawal options? What's the traffic like? How is the support? Do they respond to emails? Generally, is this poker room reliable?

Traffic is so/so I've seen more but I've also seen less. Enough downtime to piss away winnings in the casino:)

For real? Nice if so, Stake is originally the biggest crypto casino in the world with some questionable marketing (and not only) tactics. So I am a bit skeptical about their poker. Crypto companies aren't scoring high on trust scale to say the least, so something like deceptive marketing, room bots and whatnot wouldn't be a shocker. Also, what's strange for such a big company, they don't seem to make any exclusive poker promos with affiliates, not that I've seen. Could you elaborate on your experience there?

How many people normally play in those? I've seen they changed the schedule and slashed the prize pools.

This is an interesting topic.
Once again, I'm curious about this platform; it looks like I'll be testing it out.
Thanks for sharing...
As soon as I have any feedback, I'll be back to let everyone know.

Guys, is it me or Stake requires everyone to do KYC to play freerolls? Not to cah out, just to register for the tournament. Never seen anything like that before :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

No idea but i fully support that move. Too many valuehunters online nowadays who would do everything possible for a hand full of dollars extra. Known individuals and their so called "colleagues" basically swarm sites as soon as there is something for free.

In addition they should also make them rollover every single cent (that they won in any kind of Pomotion) in real money games.

I see your point, but how is it better that KYC-ing at the cash out (withdrawal) point? Like you can't even try out the room before giving out your personal details to a (shady) company. Even crypto exchanges don't require KYC for using basic services.

Second, how is KYC going to stop them? There may be other ways for those people you're talking about to get the winnings out than simple withdrawal, but KYC, albeit making it harder, won't stop them. Not to mention, that freerolls are not bonuses, winnings have to be earned by placing ITM high - they aren't going to play these freerolls at all. Plus, no other room does it, including other crypto rooms and the ones who have been in the space for 2 decades. Freeroll/bonus hunters were there 15 years ago too.

Bonus playthrough requirements is a separate topic, I have seen that tactic of cash playthrough, and I hate it as a tournament player. I think that T$ are a much better, player-friendly solution.

It is better because players who cant cash out anyway later will not join plus on a crypto site people probably try to use multiple accounts if they not have to verify. Then later they try to cashout on the same wallet or try other stupid stuff like chipdumping for example.

Kyc is not going to completely stop them yes but it makes their actions bit more complicated, which is a good thing. On Partypoker for example only people who deposited before can join freerolls. This is another way to deal with complete value hunters.

Yes "bonus requirements" is usually a seperate topic but i used the word "bonus" in my post as one word to describe everything a site gives out for freey including freeroll winnings. There are already sites who want their players to rollover their freeroll winnings before they can cashout. And i think as long as these conditions are not too excessive its also a good thing since the original idea of a freeroll was to bring more traffic to a site and let new players try out the game.

I agree with some of your points, the overall message, I think, is good and thanks for a meaningful input. However,

Once again, nothing different from a non-crypto site. Blockchain is fully traceable and just like exchanges they can (and will) halt withdrawal to request KYC (like any other room). You can't just withdraw to a crypto wallet from a centralized company without them having control over that, no matter how much chip dumping you will do. And you don't have to verify to play on most other poker sites until withdrawal, so multiple accounts can be created anywhere. That's on top of no one making dozens of accounts to play $150-250 freerolls with 1500 players even if they have bots. That's just ridiculous.

A deposit requirement is better actually, because that will decrease the amount of players in those, which is a win-win. If it's a serious value hunter they will know how to fake kyc anyhow. So you will cut off some people, those who would play hours for a couple bucks, but unlikely the biggest offenders. But you will also cut off newcoming recreational players - they aren't gonna bother with extra steps just to play a low value freeroll.

Most bonuses have had play through requirements as an industry standard for as long as I can remember anyway. I played on sites that issue freeroll winnings as cash dollars - you can't even use them for tournament buy-ins.

Sidenote. Ironically, this is not industry leaders such as Stars or GG doing that, which are poker-oriented, but Stake which is primarily a crypto casino. So dumping massive amounts to Drake and Kick to attract people for them to gamble away is all good. I doubt they ask for KYC when you deposit to play slots. I wouldn't hope that Stake's practices are there to build a better poker eco-system, if you know anything about them. I would support their moves if I saw that's what they were doing, but so far not.
