IMO Messi is the best player that ever played the game... I also think that he became so good because of his rivalry with CR7- insane player as well...

There are a few other really good players as well (Neymar, Mbappe, Aguerro, De Bruyne, Salah...) but IMO it's a big difference between Messi and CR7 and them.
