a transfer has been completed sending Texas-native Clint Dempsey from Tottenham Hotspur of the EPL to the Seattle Sounders of the MLS. Clint will be the highest paid player currently in MLS, reports are 4 yrs/$32 million. i am kinda disappointed by the move, i enjoyed watching an American play a substantial role on an EPL team.

I'm glad Spurs got him last season instead of Liverpool. Not a great last season for him but he has been a great player and should be good in the MLS.

He is well past his prime, the MLS is seen by the top players as a league to wind down their career while still earning big bucks. When we see a player in his prime making a move to the MLS then it can start to be included in the top ten leagues in the world. At the moment its nowhere near a top league
