It's back! English Fantasy Premier League for the new season.

I have started a CC regular league and a Cardschat head-to-head league for anyone who is interested in playing in either or both.

The Regular league is named Cardschat 2010 and the code to join is 50035-26083.

The Head-to-Head league is named Cardschat HTH 2010 and the code to join is 50035-26088.

Just for fun - but a few do have a side bet of $10 per person - just say if you are interested in this, but it in no way affects your ability to join either or both leagues.

Yep. So are the Dutch, Irish, German, etc. etc. Good to make noise at a football match! Cheer, sing, shout, offer useful advice to struggling professional footballers, make thoughtful observations about their appearance, question the referee's parentage, etc.

I know i always came home with a sore throat after sharing some thoughts with players & officials during a match lol

Just joined the league. I never find the patience to come up with a good team with the limited budget, so I just started buying all portuguese players (even Hilário and Boa Morte!) and completed from there with the best players I could buy. This is what I came up with:

Goalkeepers:
Hilário (Chelsea) and Reina (Liverpool)

Defenders:
Bosingwa (Chelsea), Carvalho (Chelsea), Dunne (Aston Villa), Cuéllar (Aston Villa) and Craddock (Wolves)

Midfielders:
Nani (Man Utd), Boa Morte (West Ham), Milner (Aston Villa), Etherington (Stoke) and N'Zogbia (Wigan)

Forwards:
Silva (Everton), Rooney (Man Utd) and Rodallega (Wigan)

I just did auto select to get started so I could get the league going, then went back and changed it to my own picks.

Then tweaked it

Then tweaked it again....4 weeks to go yet!

Yeah... but then I wouldn't win. My life is like that.

Same with sports bets. I can only ever bet against my teams. Otherwise it's a guarantee for defeat. Live and learn.

I have also created a CC league for the correct score contest - in the same place as the Fantasy Football, under games tab at the top is "I Know the Score".

Had a fantastic first third of the season last year, and then pretty much sucked the rest of the way. That probably won't cut it in this league...
