I'm a huge SEC fan, but Florida's defensive performance in the Sugar Bowl has me worried. Maybe the conference wasn't as strong this year, and Bama's stats are less meaningful? In any case, "ROLL TIDE!"

We'll see swoop, in about 7 hours. Personally, I think it will be better for college football if Notre Dame wins it. The SEC teams all get mulligans when they lose a game, it takes 2 losses to eliminate them from NC contention. So what we have is a monopoly. I know, I know - the SEC keeps winning the big game, so they 'belong' there. If the SEC takes this game, its been another great year for them. If they don't, 2012 was an underachievement, and maybe a new trend away from SEC bias will begin. I think a loss here would make the SEC 5-4 in the bowls (their conference is so frickin large they excreted NINE bowl teams [gag]).

Alabama is 50% better than the rest of the SEC. You can look for a matchup vs South Carolina in the SEC champ game next year. Gamecocks will get decimated, Bama will head back to the nc game. Boy, this is great for football...
