Watched this fight, it was just a slow methodical fight. Nothing to exciting happened, and Mayweather had pretty much total control of the fight. Like the announcers said Alverez probably went to fight him a year to soon. That being said Alvarez is only going to get better and the contrary for Mayweather because of age. I don't know a ton about boxing, but it looks like Alvarez needs to improve his footwork.

mayweather is a boring fight for points style of fighter, yawn i would rather watch a mma fight anyday, he doesn't go for knockouts or the win but relies on his skill as he calls it which puts me to sleep, canelo is an exciting fighter though and goes for it i would of loved to see him knock mayweather out senseless and win

He def has skill. There's nothing wrong or boring about defense. His is the best. Every great fighter has to have defense. If it looks boring to you, then you don't know the least bit about fighting.

i stated he has skill but to me it's boring and the reason i watch mma and not boxing, just cause i find mayweather boring then now i know nothing about fighting, uhm btw if you think boxing is fighting than you know nothing about fighting, mma encompasses the art of fighting far better than boxing, nobody in a fight would say hey, let's fight but lets only use our fists... i don't like his style and i like canelo's sorry i don't know anything about fighting cause of that :bawling:
