Whats everyone think of the new divisions and names?

My detroit is leaving to hopfully a weaker division, little different but thats ok, justnsucks less classic games against chi town, and they did have good games with nashville.

Now I hear a lot of hate on just the name of the metropolitan division, who cares let it be I say, just a name of a division.

its bummer there wont be as many Blackhawks-Red Wings games in regulare season but a Stanley Cup Final with the two will be sweet

The metropolitan division ,terrible name ,changing the names didn't need tobe done but afew teams in other divisions should help some travel weary teams compete at a higher level then before

i find it stranger that they are in the eastern time zone but WERE in the Western Conference

Yup lol, only 1 of the 3 that I dont like t.o. haha, I was young and impressionable when they won a cpl in a row in the 90s, I was like 7 or 8, and it stuck.

I think they shoulda went with a north south, split....even the travel times out as we all know the east coast advantage. Woulda lumped all the cdn teams in one division wich would be ultra-cool.

lumping all Canadian teams into one division is the oppositibe of ultra cool lol, and the leafs, ahh I think they will make the playoffs but don't look for them to go much further then that. go wings!

I do like the new coach, and I dunno if they have made too many bad moves, its just they have been a very good team for a while now, but cant figure out how to turn their team great. get a more dynamic scoring forward and maybe some toughness, and I can see them being great
