Newcastle United, live 30 minutes from the stadium, went to my 1st match when I was about 10 years old, got beat 3-2 by tottenham but saw Beardsly score two pens. Been a season ticket holder for over 20 years, glutton for punishment.

Liverpool Football Club. First game was 1970, v Sheffield Wednesday. Roger Hunt scored the only goal in a 1-0 win.

At the time, Everton was actually a slightly better team - I also went to Goodison that year and saw them beat Chelsea 5-2 on the way to winning the league - Kendall, Harvey, Ball - one of the best midfields ever.

Best team in the English Leagues is THFC of course, Tottenham Hotspur.

I was born in Plaistow, East London and went to watch the hammers for 10 - 11 years. One day the game as away, up north somewhere so my mate suggested going to see Tottenham. At 12 years old a trip on the tube was cool. Off we went and the rest is history.......
