Hi

Is there anyone who has often received a jackpot chest with the highest jackpot? For example, I once received $100,000 in a ten dollar tournament.

But things have been going very poorly since then and I usually lose the turn on the last card. It is always very annoying. Even though you're miles ahead, your opponent gets the card they need, even if they only have a 2-3% probability.

What are your views on this?

Sometimes you play non-aggressively, allowing your opponent to play cheaply and see their card hit, which usually happens against +JJ.

Try to be more aggressive. It's better to guarantee 10bb on the flop than to risk losing 40bb on the river, understand?

Thhx for your Answer buddy,

Yes, you may be right. I play the way you say, but nevertheless, it's usually the case that you go all in preflop because you have a strong hand with aces, jacks, TT, etc. Your opponent either calls because they have more chips, significantly more chips, or fewer chips and are fighting for survival, and with off-suit cards, they hit four suits on the table and you lose. That's really, really annoying and has been happening to me a lot lately.

I totally understand, my friend. Every day I scare my wife because I also lose like that. The change lies in losing less. If you miss the right all-in, that's fine. Now, we can't let the guys find their cards at the end of the round, understand? A trap is also to throw out of position or force with average pairs of 55 to 99, avoid forcing. Step up the game and, if you make a mistake, flee mercilessly.

Thank you, bro, for your encouraging and meaningful words. Sometimes I focus too much in the hope that I will hit the mark and end up running into a concrete wall :D

I think this is just variance. Big wins can make the downswings feel even worse afterward. Even when opponents hit a 2–3% card, it’s still part of the math. The key is focusing on making good decisions long term, not short-term outcomes.

I've received $2 in a $0.25 game, but I guess I am not a luckbox like you lol. Hope you withdrew most of it.

Wow incredible.
The highest multiplier in these mystery games I ever got was a 10x chest ( that one suprisingly often though)
, highest was 250$ in a 25$ mystery.

I think you spend your "one time " for the rest of your life 😆😆

Haha

Congratulations...
But if I won a $100,000 chest, I wouldn't be worrying about so many bad beats for a very, very long time! lol

I don't know anyone personally who has won a prize like that in GG chests!

Poker demands volume, and a lot of volume, to combat variance... If you generally perform somewhat average in the field, you'll start getting good results again. Keep studying and be patient... Some days (though rare) the cards will smile on us!

These are bingo tournaments. Your luck, not your skills, will be decisive.
If you ever received $100,000 in a tournament with a 410 buy-in, you should have stopped playing. Nothing better will ever come along after that.

Waw 100k, I havent gotten a 100k but I understand the sentiment of having bad beat after recieving the 100k. That must be horrible

So you binked a once-in-a-lifetime lucky jackpot, but you still worry about bad beats and the fairness of the game? If this happened to me, I would withdraw the bulk of the money, take a break from poker and start thinking about topics like buying a new car, fixing my house etc.

Firstly, there are many people who play the mystery battle royales for Profit !
So your claim it's Bingo, is simply untrue. sure ut is in the 25c games...
Secondly the buyin where you can win 100K isn't 410 but 10 $ ....🙄

Are there? We dont actually know, how many profitable players, there are on GG Poker in this or other tournaments, since they stopped tracking by sharkscope and similar sites.

the mystery battle stats are a good indication if a player is profitable or not.
Ocassionally , I play the higher buy in, 10$ , rarely the 25$ and the level of play isn't comparable to the 25c and 1$ games..
You can see plenty players there with winnings over 500K and a rush stage clear of over 60% with over 120000 games played.

And I think it's a good thing that they opted out of sharkscope. Its nobodies business how much money you win or lose

What exactly do those stats show? Clearing the rush stage only mean, you made it to the final half. But if this happened with a short stack, it does not nessesarely equate to profit.

That information is only public, if you opt in. I think, its an extremely bad thing, there is no transparancy at all on GG Poker. It makes it a haven for cheaters and also for the site itself to cheat and abuse its players. They already had a known superuser scandal, and god know what else has been rugged under the carpet with no oversight from players or anyone else.

It shows how often you make the final 9, how many bounty money you won, how much regular prizepool money you won and total sum
It also shows your average FT finish. That is far from intransparency in my opinion

That is just speculation sorry...

True and they dealt with it immediately ..unlike other rooms . for example Ignition Poker. They have rampant bot activity for years and the owners couldn't be bothered in the slightest.
sharkscope doesn't prevent fraud lol
