If you are a beginner, I recommend playing only with strong premium hands. Everything else is simply a fold.
As for blinds, a lot depends on the format and structure of the tournament. To start with, I would recommend playing in freerolls, in all those available to you, playing with strong hands and analyzing your game.

Well basically if you are sitting at ten bbs you're in shove/fold mode,

the worse your position at the table the better your hand should be,

Utg versus Button charts for example below on most profitable

to shove with all things being equal....

If you’re under ~10BB, you should start looking for good shove spots instead of limping around. Strong broadways, pairs, suited aces, and good position make it safer to flip and stay alive in the tournament.

10 or less blinds is the moment to shove without a lot of [bought . But [here are many other cases where you might need to shove with 15-20 bbs , dependingly on the hand , the| position , how many players are in the hand etc . I still try to figure out many of these spots and hands and how to play them th| best way

"Going to the flips" suggest you are calling a shove knowing you are 50-50 at best. What we want to be focused on when calling a shove is that our V has a wide enough range that when we call, we are still ahead of some of their range. So TT calls a shove when we know they can have 99-22 in their range

Going for flips depends on our stack vs the field size -if we have 15bb and average is 10bb we do not want to flip. If average is 50bb and we have 15 then we can welcome calling if we can be ahead as stated above

In tournaments, flips become unavoidable once stacks get shallow. For me, the BB count matters more than the hand itself.
20+ BBs: I try to avoid pure flips and play more post-flop, unless there’s strong ICM or a clear edge.
15–20 BBs: I’m more willing to take flips, especially from late position or vs wider ranges.
10–15 BBs: Standard reshove/fold zone — flips are often correct and sometimes necessary.
<10 BBs: You can’t wait for premiums; you take the best +EV spot available.
Hands I’m happy flipping with:
• Pocket pairs (22+)
• Big aces (AJs+, AQ+)
• Broadways (KQ, KJs, QJs depending on position)
