If you play passively preflop (you usually want your opponent to fold when you're OOP and have a hand with little postflop playability), you can regain some action on the following streets, considering that you connected better with this board and your opponent's range looks more polarized after his cbet on the flop. This could be done by raising on the flop or leading with a range bet on the turn. The outcome of this hand was a bad beat for you.

Folding preflop would be the standard play, though if your opponents are bad flatting is fine.

On the flop you need to xraise and get more money in.
