I don't get it. I'm out of position like first and second i don't have single spades to bet, yea i have straight which can be beaten with duce spades if next spade show.First of all it seems like, you were SB, so why were you not betting this flop yourself for value? As I understand it, you checked, and then the opponent bet 7BB into the 6BB pot, so a slight overbet. You cant improve, so if you are behind to a flush, you are drawing dead. And if he has a set or any single spade, he has equity.
So its not a great spot, but I just dont see, how you can narrow his range down to only made flushes and straight out fold to a single bet on the flop. In my opinion you need to make this call and then see, what happen on the later streets. If another spade comes, and/or he continue to bomb the pot like this, you can fold later.
Yes if another spade rolls off, that will degrade your hand significantly. And this is part of the reason, why you dont want to check and allow a hand likeI don't get it. You supposedly mean bet, and the pot was 0.6e not 0.7e. I would probably press my 40% pot button, but you could also go slightly larger up to 70% pot. But from a theory perspective monotone board are usually bet small, as I understand it.How much you will prefer to raise on pot 0.7e???
A straight is not a weak hand on this board, it is a very strong hand. It only lose to a flush, and with theIf you have a weak hand and your opponents are betting heavily, folding is a good way to avoid losing money.
