Villain is 16/8/3 over 350, F23B 77

Wasn't till after the hand that I noticed his flop raise was 19%(out of 26 hands) don't know if that changes our decision here or not. I cbet the flop cuz I have TPTK, initiative, and I wanna take it down now. Good enough reasons? Villain instashipped after I bet. Like he had all in autoclicked.

Merge - $0.04 NL - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

MP+1: $3.77
CO: $3.04
BTN: $4.00
SB: $5.70
Hero (BB): $4.00
UTG: $3.67
UTG+1: $5.26
MP: $4.00

SB posts SB $0.02, Hero posts BB $0.04

Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero has A:club: K:club:

fold, fold, MP raises to $0.12, MP+1 calls $0.12, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.50, fold, MP+1 calls $0.38

Flop: ($1.14, 2 players) 7:heart: 8:heart: K:heart:
Hero bets $0.76, MP+1 raises to $3.27 and is all-in, fold

MP+1 wins $2.53

No way you can call this on TPTK and nothing else.

As for the cbet, I absolutely hate this kind of situation but have found out that cbet has the best EV here (if I check they bet like 100% of the time and then I have to fold)... mostly people fold to cbet, if they don't then I check and fold to any bet except if it is minimum.

Thanks for the replies guys. I seriously hate montotone boards. Almost as much as I hate 3betting AK from the blinds and getting calls. I didn't think it was a call but I was just making sure. Trying to make a habit of posting my biggest losing hands for the day.

LD you are right though seems if we check here they almost always bet and try and take it from us. I just paused after the shove trying to figure out what he could have had..............guessing AQh or AK with the A of hearts. Don't know what else plays this way.

snap.. its too easy for him to have AK/KQ or just the Ah here, plus people have less combos of nutted hands on Kxx boards so yeah.

+ he never shoves a flush here?

Expect it was a good lay down, but got to be honest and say that I would have probably called - and I expect lost money. Which is exactly why I need to read/post on here more.

My (probably wrong) reasoning would be that I wouldn't of thought he would shove a made flush so was probably chasing it - or could even be repping the flush with whilst holding TT-QQ?

Calling is completely fine. I think snap folding is the worst thing you can do here.

Well I didn't snap fold. I def thought about it for a minute but I don't like calling my whole stack off with top pair. Especially on a board like this without any kind of redraw. AA or KK would raised pre, QQ-TT shouldn't be spazz shoving in this spot. Only hands I can see making this move is AhK or AQhh, maybe some other big suited aces that smashed it.

No point me re-iterating what 9k has said. His post is correct.
