As you say, this is all predicated on your read of the player and the importance of the situation, but it's a good thing to keep in the back of ones mind just for when that situation arises.

Yeah, you can see this in action by watching any of the big online tourneys. Every week I try to watch 4 tables at a time of well known online pros in the PokerStars Sunday Million. Very informative. You can learn a lot about these situations by watching the best, even if you don't see the cards showndown that often. Great post, + rep.

A good explanation of the math behind why you would fold to someone that tight (15%) and who raises that little (5%).

Would he fold any of these hands:

"AK
JJ
TT
AQ
And possibly AJ, KQ and 99."
