to wat tenbob said. generally 3bets IP are 3x and 3bets OOP are 4x. I dont think 3.5 is that bad

Granted I play no where near the volume as you guys, but March has been pretty good to me, except for tonight I lost a buy in, but this smack talking idiot just sat at the table trying to put everyone on tilt, and is up, so I am sure I will get it back as long as he/she sticks around....
I have to skip the CC donkament at Carbon, it will be worth it, I am sure.

Oh I have always just done them 3-3.5x, I will start 4x oop and see how it works for me Thanks for the advice.

x4 +1 oop min at the micros. Prob more value in shoving than betting small tbh.

You can actually raise even more in the particular spot because he's raised from UTG and he's a 1/2 stack. He's going to be bad on average and 50 there is going to be called just as often as 35.

when we 3bet light from the blinds vs a CO or BTN steal we shouldn't be adjusting our sizing right? even though people at 5nl won't catch it all

For sure, I have played 3 stacks against him already and won 2/3 (2/4 now) and I know he will stack extremely lightly post fllop, So I wasnt to fussed about getting it in pre, (I am 80% sure he woulda stacked his 6s even without the set)

Just read a thread in general poker.

People on this forum must get scared when they post solid advice about not posting before the BB because you get bad cards and we try to inform them of actual reasons why its bad. They then fail to get there heads around it and post some of these :boxing: whilst wishing us good luck at the tables.

BTW out of all of that rubbish, and discounting the OP, this post is Poker Gold:

the sit out to avoid BB is an interesting strategy....will try this in a test
but poker is a gamble.you can't just fold because you have 27.
i can't remember how many times i've made a full house with these 2 cards.
indeed when your bankroll is insuficient you have to be carefull.
anyway....its all about luck.
