Lets start March again imo

No thanks!

After the train wreck of last month I have made everything back plus more, balance is up to $194 on FT now, about +$80 for the month inc RB i think :) 6max is the way forward apparently.

So,

St. Patrick's Day.

It's supposed to go to 60 degrees F today and the NCAA tournament starts so it's going to be a litte nutty. I should get my arse to the gym. but part me of me wouldn't mind having a few pints today and having a big Reuben Sandwhich. Never been the best at being Irish (American) but I guess I'll throw some green on.

Skipping my AM session, maybe permanently just not enough fish to make it worthwhile. By my estimation I just need ~ 30k hands/ month to maintain Silverstar so I really am going to focus on best days of the week and times of day to play, maybe even napping in the afternoon so I can stay up later to play if I find later Evenings to be profitable.

Still annoyed at losing KK & QQ yesterday after AIPF to one card straights. For whatever reason if AK flopped an Ace or K2 flopped a K it just would have been easier to stomach but to lose to final hands that only have ~ 4% chance of happening twice in the same day, especially when I lost to a 2 outer on the River when all the money was in (KK <99) and losing AA once each to a Flush and a straight all in one day just annoy the F out of me. That doesn't even include the lagtard with an 11% 3bet who I 4bet shoved JJ against and the monkey had AA. Oh, well, despite all this I am only down one buy-in from all time bankroll high.

Third Draw: ($13.70) (3 players)
BB discards 1, Hero stands, Button stands,
5 7 2 4 6
BB bets $1, Hero calls $1, Button raises to $2, BB raises to $3, Hero folds, Button calls $1

You fold the 4th best hand in a draw game given 10:1 pot odds? Wow...

vacation, work or other?

Vacation. Me and two high school buddies went to visit a friend who is living in chengdu on a US govt scholarship. He has hung out with us and given us a grand tour for the last 2 weeks. I'm about ready to come home for some pizza and poker tho.

this has been ridiculous. still ~7k in winnings to go, but it does seem like he is running away with the 52k they put against him.

what are his usual stakes though?

Sounds good to me. I usually play one level lower on 6max

One of my best friends went on a State Dept funded trip to China last Summer but it was to Northern China near Manchuria. He had a blast. After College he lived in Taiwan for 9 years, married a Taiwanese woman and now teaches Chinese in Hudson, WI (!).

Nah but the thread did tilt me to the point of closing it. Still nothing back from mpethybridge but the frustrating part was that he just wouldn't/couldn't understand what the positional stats were saying.

I doubt it was secret thoughts. More like you sat at your desk muttering "I'ma ban this mofo, I'ma ban this mofo. I can't ban him for this tho dammit. I so want to ban him."

He was pretty retarded in the fact that he couldn't understand that posting a blind costs more money than not posting it. "It's not paying it's posting because you might win it back" made me lol.

I think table ninja is hurting people folding to my c-bets because I bet so fast. I just love insta-betting 80% of the pot though lulz.
