Private small cash games - What do you think?

What are your guys' opinion in these private house games?

I always had a ton of fun at these stakes, live, with a bunch of guys. We also played dealer's choice, so it was wild!

Dealer's choice means the dealer picks the game. Frequently, there are wild cards or other strange rules. Stuff like "No Limit Follow the Queen" where there can be 8 wild cards and half of them might change before the hand is over.

With friends, go for it. I haven't yet ventured to playing with a bunch of people I don't know, but if I were to know a reg that plays with them and can vouch for them, I would give it a try. But you can end up playing a big mix of games, especially with wild cards. Make sure you're playing at limits you're comfortable playing where the games may not be your strongest.
