Once on the roulette I bet on black. It was a winning system where after losing a double bet is placed to make up for previous bets and go for a plus. It fell 14 times in a row red. There was no money to bet and it ended in bankruptcy.

Yeah, and keep in mind you won't be able to double up your bet indefinitely because you'll eventually hit the Table-Limit for a wager even if you don't wipe out your bankroll.
