This thread should be used as a touristic guide for all poker players and fun place where you can post a name, photo and maybe even link of the nearest or the best casino in your area, town, city. Also, put the name of the area, city and country.

At 3 hours away, it's not the closest casino to me, but they have a $10 roundtrip bus that stops in my city.


I voted for online poker, because I like that I can pay $11 for a shot at four-figures and have a decent structure. Winstar's structures on the low buyin tourney's (under $250) are not good at all. Better off playing at Choctaw Durant where some of the low buyin MTTs actually have antes.

Derp. Forgot to add that it's in Thackerville, Oklahoma. North of Dallas, TX. :driver:

Only two where I am - Resort World Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands.

There's your usual blackjack, big small, roulette, jackpot machines, ban lak, pontoon, and just recently poker.

If you're local, you have to pay a levy of $100 before you can go in and that 'passport' allows you only to stay in the casino for 24hrs. Once that time is up, you gotta pay the levy again.

Presumably the government's way of preventing us locals from turning into pathological gamblers.

And yes, even if you just wanna sightsee and all and not gamble, you'll still need to pay the levy.

Free for foreigners/tourists!

One of the reasons I made this thread is making possible for all of us to see some new places and maybe visit any. Casinos are the nicest buildings I believe. :)

Here is another one called Choctaw, in Durant Oklahoma where a WSOPC is currently running:
