I had a couple of partners who did not like me playing poker at all though they didn't know anything about it. I think they only hated the time I didn't spend with them.
Then I had a wife who played a little, I was happy about it, thinking that she would understand. It turned out that she would get upset when I lose and very happy when I win.

No one has any problem with my gambling habits . They know I have absolute control over losses , that I spend very little money . I have strict bankroll management. I never let anything disrupt my desirable betting behavior , I don't let anyone or anything to drive me on tilt . They know these , so they are fine with this .

At first, my loved ones were very wary. But over time, when they saw that nothing bad was happening, they stopped paying attention to my online entertainment. What's more, from time to time I buy gifts for my family and always mention that the gift was bought with the money I was lucky enough to win

We as people believe with our eyes before anything else, people require there to be signs/proof that what you're doing is productive in order for them to support you. As for me, my family see that I'm playing cards but they don't really understand, they know that I do get money from it because of how much I'm invested in it but that it. 4months ago I went to play at my local casino and I told them that I just got an (invitation) email to play, but the truth was that I played with my own money

I live alone, so there are no problems. Previously, when I lived with my girlfriend, she resented me for spending too much time gambling. We didn't have any serious conflicts about it, but there were some misunderstandings. Honestly, if my wife was categorically against gambling, I could give it up, but if she was against poker, I would most likely give her up

I separated and now live alone. I was married three times, and all my wives were against gambling. I got divorced and now I gamble whenever and however much I want. But I don't recommend following my example.

My wife doesn't mind, as long as I remember to share my winnings with her. In my opinion, I've found the perfect compromise. Now I play when I want, and my wife is on my support team

My family is supportive of everything I do, including poker and other gambling activities. The reason is that I pay all the bills and always do what I think is best for all of us.

It involves using the game to sharpen my mind while also prioritizing physical and mental well-being through strategic health habits like regular exercise, a balanced diet, sufficient rest, and maintaining social connections outside of poker. Poker can be a tool for cognitive enhancement, but it's crucial to balance it with healthy habits to prevent burnout, mental and physical fatigue, and social isolation.
