How long was your longest break when you refrained from gambling altogether? I have been gambling for over 20 years, and my longest break lasted about a year. This was because I got a new and rather difficult job, so I had virtually no free time to gamble.

My longest break from poker lasted about two years. My longest break from other casino games lasted no more than six months.

My longest break lasted about three years. After a very serious loss, I promised myself I would never play again... I made a promise to myself that I didn't keep.

I am not addicted to gambling and try to find various casino promotions (such as daily free spins or a promotion at 888, where you need to play at the casino every Thursday to get a ticket for a freeroll). Therefore, I can take a break for a year or two without any significant problems. :)

Casually playing for 2 years then stopped, not intending to look back again. After 13 years, stumbled to Cardschat & have not stopped playing poker again.

I have never taken a break longer than a few months. And I have had several such breaks. For me, gambling is simply a part of my life.

I had several long breaks, each lasting about a year. But now I'm talking specifically about breaks from casino gambling and betting. In poker, my breaks were no longer than 2-3 months.
