I’m someone with very bad intuition and I much prefer math, so I’d probably just randomize my choice. But in reality, I wouldn’t play it at all since I hate burning money

First of, I would not get a million dollars as a loan just to bet on roulette LOL.

For fun's sake, I would pick red as it is suppose to be a lucky colour. In Chinese culture, it's thought to keep bad things away and attract good things.

I would never put that much money in one bet, not even 5% of it, but since I'm forced to do it and it's not mine anyway, I'll go with RED on one condition. If I win, I'm keeping the $2M, otherwise, bet it yourself.

I would probably decide based on the date on the calendar. That is, if today is September 11, I would check whether 11 is black or red, and then make my choice based on that.
