U play 4 money, fun or just da thrill?

So been thinkin… ppl go casino for diff reasons. Some go all serious, count every chip, try 2 make profit like its a job. Others jus treat it like a night out, lose a bit but same as payin 4 a movie or party. Then u got ppl who chase that rush… like heart racing when slots bout 2 stop or pushin all-in at poker w/ shaky hands 😂

What about u guys?
- U go in w/ mindset make $$ or jus have fun? or depends mood?
- Ever had 1 of those nights where u lost bt still had best time?
- Where u think line is btwn “smart risk” n “just throwin $$ away”?
- If u cud ONLY play 1 game rest of ur life… which? why?

Me? Tbh I had nights went home broke AF lol but still kept laughin coz of some crazy hand at poker table, or just the vibez that night. Kinda weird cos those nites I remember more than ones I actually win.

Pretty much a little of both. Blow through some cash, have some fun and hope I win. Any time I am at the casino I have the best time. Trying to think of a time I didn't have fun??? I would play any slot with 7's and wilds forever.

I don't like to experience thrills in poker and try to keep the game under my control. I play poker primarily to make money, but also for entertainment. I play at casinos to experience thrills, and I also bet on sporting events.

Going to a casino should be like going to a nice restaurant. You go to enjoy the experience and have a good time. The same applies to casino games, the main goal should be fun and money comes second. Personally I always play for enjoyment, because playing only for money takes away the excitement. The only exception might be poker, which can be both about fun and making money.

I would try to balance both— making $$ with strategy plus to be there for the fun and social vibe. The line for me between “smart risk” and “throwing money away” is when decisions stop being based on odds or strategy and turn purely emotional. If I had to pick one game forever, it’d be poker, because skill, psychology, and endless variety keep it exciting.

I would say that both of them, it's not just for one or the other, poker is a game that entertains me a lot and that I can play alone, which makes me like it, and it also draws my attention a lot to be playing with real money, I would say that's what adds tension and feeling in my case

Whenever I went to a casino, it was to play a certain poker tournament, which means hoping to make some money.
But since I mostly went to the same one, and I always had free room (comps), I used to take a break from poker the following day, relax and have some fun by deciding to "burn" a certain amount of money, mostly at a blackjack table. Most of the time, I lose and go home satisfied, but many times I left with a nice bonus win too.

I gamble for fun. These games give me particular pleasure when I win money. Even $1-2 is a good result for me. I work in IT and earn quite well, but winning money, even small amounts, gives me a particularly pleasant feeling

Everyone plays for money, but not everyone just plays for that. If someone seriously wants to make money from it, they put serious energy into it. I currently play for fun.
