If you have walked into a live casino, there is no denying the lights and the sounds grab your attention immediately, which is exactly what they are supposed to do. The different types of table games that exist are entertaining, fun - especially when you win! But...of any game that a casino has today, which one is the most overrated in your opinion?

Slot Machines.

Often big jackpots but low odds.

And the simplicity and repetition put me to sleep.

Almost no strategy/tactics and no interaction with anyone.

Plus all the lights, flashing and spinning may theoretically give sensitive persons epileptic seizure symptoms.

I'll also say the slots. They're prolly overhyped due to the rows & rows of slots but only observed a handful playing on the machines everytime I happen to pass by.

I have never been to a casino and never played such games. But I think these are slot machines.

I also have to agree on slots. Just very dumb games imo without any strategy and a lot of flashy lights and sounds.

In vegas i saw older people begging in front of casinos and after they gained a bit of change they would instantly put that into some slot machines inside.

The dream of running it up quickly.

I'm going to go on a bit of a different path...Ultimate Texas Hold'em.

To me, this game should not be branded Texas Hold'em as it's not true poker but to a novice or an inexperienced poker player going into a casino and seeing this, may give off the appearance of poker when in fact it's a game against the house that has a sizeable edge (+2%), this game can be a money pit for players if not played perfectly, and even then...

We had this too ! We called it Easy Holdem where you only have to beat the house.
But you have to pay 5€ minimum for Ante , Flop , Turn , River.
Ofc you can choose only to pay Ante and Flop but that will grant you only to see the flop but you won't be able to win ofc and the 10€ are gone ^^

I once won over 550€ for a highhand jackpot there but that was it. Normally you lose still.

I would go with slots as well.

They are so bright and shiny and so tempting for many people that it makes me sad (of the players) and angry (of the casinos) at the same time when I see someone playing them.

In Croatia in the past several years there is a growing tendency of opening so called automate clubs. It's similar to a casino but without possibility to play any live game, only on various machines. I truly believe that the number of such clubs has impact on the increasing number of addictive people connected with gambling and betting. :(

Well yeah it's gotta be slots,....push a button, pull a lever, .....do it again, oh the excitement,
blackjack has a strategy, Poker has strategy, even roulette has systems but slots is literally just pushing buttons,
....don't really see the joy in playing craps either personally, might as well stay home and play yahtzee 😏👍

The slot machines have the worst odds, so based on that it would be Slot Machines for me.

Slots suck of course, but since you mentioned "Table games", I have to go with "Roulette". Besides the 1 to 1 or even 2 to 1 bets, putting your money on a certain number and hoping to see that little "Boulette" settle on it is pure gambling, why not buy a lottery ticket, at least if you hit, you get way more than 35 to 1.

Video Poker. The only poker like aspect is trying to make hands, but really you're just playing a version of slots.

Roulette.
Sit and watch a rolling ball land on a number and most times it is not the number you bet on. Not much excitement or skill or strategy in it

The guy who killed 58 people and wounded 850 others in Vegas played video poker.

But, back to the question at hand. Since slots are the biggest draw of the masses, and if I understand correctly, the biggest money maker for casinos, that would have to make them the most overrated. As others have pointed out above, there's no skill or strategy involved, just put your money in, and pull the lever/push the button, and repeat and repeat and repeat.

However, can you imagine casinos without slots? I can't. They take up massive amounts of floor space. They use enough electricity to light up the entire Nevada desert. You don't even have to go to a casino to play. They're everywhere - at gas stations, restaurants, bars, even in back of Meemaw and Georgie's laundromat on Young Sheldon.

Just like most people have mentioned slots for sure, they are just machines that take our money and most of them make very annoying sounds but if they don't count as "games", I would have to say roulette, especially if you're there around a crowded table.

I'm going to rephrase my answer after the received feedback.

Popular culture has given people the image that black jack is a winnable game as long as you have beautiful brain than can count the decks.
I'm sure many have tried to follow this idea only to be thrown out of the casino.
And slots? I don't even consider those as games. They are just garbage disposal for money.

booc of dead I think is the most overestimated . Many people praise this Slot . I got 10 free spins several times .And the winnings were minimal . I read somewhere that this game is one of the most beloved gamblers. As for me, there is nothing good there, maybe I was playing at the minimum rate.By the way, I visited this slot today.
Made 50 automatic spins and won 23 cents.

I can't imagine how people for 10 cents. win 100 dollars.
I think everything is programmed there and I don’t invest much in this slot
I've been coming to this Slot for several years now.Especially on Thursdays but that's a completely different story

Blackjack is the only game that gets you banned from the casino for playing to the best of your ability and winning consistently, accordingly
it should be at the top of the overrated list.

I find it hard to believe that a player playing blackjack can be banned. I've never even read that a blackjack player was in the black .Online casino. I think there, too, everything is programmed for large bets of 70 percent loss
