Because here it's kinda meh...

Participating in a KENO draw (which is possible three times a day) is as easy as filling a lottery ticket.

You can play on ten basic levels and choose 2 to 10 numbers out of 70. One game costs 0.50 EUR minimum but you can buy bonus features by paying 50 cents more. Top bet is 5 EUR and adding bonus features to that makes it 10 EUR. Bonus feature mainly milks the players in my opinion.

Is it enticing? Nope

In each game 20 numbers out of 70 are drawn which sounds a lot but really isn't.

For example, trying the simple way - meaning choosing only 2 numbers out of 70 and getting them right will pay out only seven times your bet. So the cheapest option pays 0.50x7=3.50.

If you are incredibly lucky, you choose 10 numbers and get them all correct, your multiplier is 200 000 - meaning 0.50 EUR bet will pay you 100k.

Also the combined winnings are capped on each level so it is not necessarily certain that you get what your multiplier implies.

I never played it but I know it exists here. Ukrainian KENO is a government lottery played daily. You pick 2–10 numbers out of 80 on a ticket; then, 20 numbers are drawn. The more matches you get, the bigger the prize—up to €375,000 with 10 guesses and highest x10 multiplier. odds are low for big wins, most play for fun, not investment. Taxes (19.5%) are deducted from winnings by the operator.

I thought it was just a regional lottery we had here, but it turns out other countries use the same name too.
But from what I can see, your version is very different from the Ukrainian KENO.

This is a pretty popular type of lottery in Ukraine. Although I've never taken part in it, I know a few people who've won $300-$500.

I believe its the 2nd worst odds after the lottery in the USA.

I think it usually has the highest house edge in casinos at around 20-40%. The house edge is often lower at online casinos.

Here the odds of having ten numbers correct is about 1 in 2.15 million. Our lottery is much worse.

Keno is a popular game in Ukraine. However, I think that there is some manipulation on the part of the operators of this lottery in Ukraine. I definitely don't trust them.

When this game was introduced to the public years back the draw with an actual machine was televised once a day. Nowadays they no longer do that which rose suspicions among players.

In Ukraine, many people play this game. I even know several families for whom it can be considered a family game.
Previously, once a week, on Sundays, the draw was broadcast on television, but I don't know if they still do that now.

... there is a Keno lottery in the US but it's only in about 15 or 16 states, none in the west where I live,

there is Keno at casinos everywhere though but yeah it's hard to hit those numbers... but fun 👍

Here, you pick a minimum of 3 numbers out of 49. They draw 20 numbers; you get paid if your numbers happen to be in those 20. The more you pick (Max 10 I think), the more money you can win and the more difficult you can hit ofc.
For 3 numbers, you make 4 times your money if I remember correctly. When you fill up the ticket, you can choose to play a multiplier that costs double. After each draw, they spin a wheel to determine the multiplier (From 2 to 10) and it's the 2 that comes up most of the time obviously.

It's still not easy to hit. And the payouts are not that great, let's say you bet $1 on 3 numbers, you only win $3 ($4 for your $1) and that's if you hit. Moreover, most people put in $2 lured by the possible x10.

In our country, keno is played with 80 numbers. Of these, 20 are drawn daily. You can choose to select 1 or 10 numbers out of 80. Of course, the prize is different when you play with 1 number and when you draw 10 out of 80 (here, for example, there is already a prize for 5 hits). The basic bet is about 1 €.

It is played roughly every 3 minutes here in Australia.

20 numbers are drawn from a possible 80.
