If they tell you how bad a player you are cause' they had the nut straight and you pulled a flush or a FH, They are a Donk so give it to them on the boards cause' they will give it all to you just to prove what a better player they are than you.

Disagree. I sometimes can't help but comment on some donk moves because they baffle me at times. And I can say I'm no donk, haha.

Usually when it happens they go on tilt. So it actually does work out in my favor.

no, they stop playing or get educated. also anyone that thinks tilting players is +EV generally dont understand what adjustments tilting makes, is he calling you with a wider range, bluffing more, raising more pre, 3betting more, calling postflop more, 4betting more, cbetting more?????

dont berate fish, its bad for you and has a net negative result for everyone else both short and longterm.

I can see this implying a lot in real life but where I play online(previously cake and now at juicy) fish keep playing and redepositing despite knowing they are bad. I have ran into a lot of bad players that i've scoped and then rescoped when I ran into them again and they continue to lose money and redeposit. So to say all fish stop playing or get educated is clearly not 100% true. And I'm not exactly berating them hardcore as you make it seem like.

You may not be a donk, but you're not too smart. Shut your mouth at the table. No need to tell everyone how smart you are when by doing so you show how wrong you are.

Apart from possibly improving him (which might be questionable) you're alienating the whole table.

If I see someone continuously tapping the tank I'm reporting him to the site.

Read the TOS of the sites you're playing at then you'll know why.

Not at all. I am a old-school nit. But I find good occasion to limp for a number of reasons.

One thing I have found over 20+ years of playing poker, you can not make blanket statements such as winning players can not limp. The truth is just about any style can win, as long as the person knows how to play against 'type'. While you may teach beginning players a certain pathway to a winning player and be right to do so, actual winning players encompass all different styles.

So yes, probably nothing wrong with telling new players they shouldn't limp, but to say anyone who limps is a donkey is most likely an incorrect statement. But ya'll can label me donkey when we are playing...I will not take offense.

For the most part I will limp more often against aggressive players, and raise more often against passive players.

Even the statement, people should not berate donkeys is overall the proper statement for the majority of people, but it has its place in strategy. If you are a nit player, it can be used to slow down an aggressive donk who you want to raise less for some reason, it can be used to put players on tilt. For me, it can be used so that you make people either respect your raises and they fold, or disrespect you and want to reraise against you. Talk affects people, and can make players change the way they play for the better of your game sometimes. It generally makes people look you up, and if a google shows somehow you have weak stats, those players will be raising you, if it shows you are strong, they will be folding more against you.

The only blanket statement I make is...you are 100% donkey if you use a stalling strategy every hand when you play an MTT.

Fair enough. It is possible I have no idea what I am talking about. I don't even know for sure.

if they limp they are a donk? lol. specific structures to winning poker are good (like don't limp) when playing at very low limits against CERTAIN types of players, but being dynamic and able to adjust to the competition is what makes a pro player. I frequently limp against many fish because some of them are so bad that I can easily steal the pot from them later in the hand.

If they constantly bet/call Ace high to showdown, they are a donk. I can't believe how many people do this every time I play.
