I love Omaha, but Omaha is full of surprises compared to Texas Hold’em, and as we know it is not always reliable to win hands like a pair and double pair and also three of a kind, they are less valuable compared to the Texas Holdem game. Likewise, we especially have to use in all stages all that we know about the skill of reading the opponent's movement, "body language."
I think Omaha is more difficult.
What do you think?

I have just started playing more Omaha lately and have realized there are many differences. Certainly have to be careful because the best hand when you start is likely not the best when the hand finishes. If there’s a strategy I would use or suggest it would be to be careful overplaying hands early. It’s a gambling game more so than hold em. Players will often take more risks because they have many more drawing outs. If there’s a better hand on the river I won’t go bust paying the all in off because they often seem to have the nuts. It can be a very fun game. I am enjoying learning it.

Yes, well, I learned the game of Omaha nine years ago, and that was through the free tournaments that were organized in one of the casinos in my city. I was surprised at the deal of four cards, but I played normally and enjoyed the game. But after several games in Omaha, I realized that Omaha hides a lot more painful hits than Texas Hold'em. On the surface it looks easy and attractive with hands, but you must be very careful in order to achieve good results. Thanks for the post and good luck to you

The bad thing about Omaha is that most games are Pot Limit, so we can't go all in to make another player fold, even if we bet the value of the pot some players don't fold, even though they have low equity, they just don't fold. .

omaha is easier if you know the rules well, and you can never be eliminated if you have a low hand, against a full house or a flush,

:confused: Didn't you read what I wrote ?? I said that "most" games are Pot Limit, not that "all" are Pot Limit.

Thanks najjah for this post, I think I didn't pick my favorite Omaha in the first post, which is Omaha NL, this is a good version of Texas Hold'em. As for Omaha HI / LO I think it is very slow and requires great skill to get the opponent to fall into the trap, it is often played by professional and very patient players. Either way, I play Omaha to be solid in making good Texas Hold'em decisions.

I'd say Omaha is more difficult than Holdem, simply because equities run much closer.

I can't say whether omaha is more difficult than holdem. But it's different and it's harder to get people to fold because they have so many more options at hand. You also have to rethink when you start playing omha because you get 4 cards and only 2 are counted at the showdown although that can be different at the hi / lo because it can happen that all 4 are counted 2 for the hi and 2 for the lo . But it is true that cards like AA have little value preflop and that you need patience that is true. But to say more than with holdem I am not really convinced of it because I think that no matter what type of poker you play, patience always plays a very important role. And in every poker game it is the same when the cards fall the way we want them to, then the game looks easier, but they rarely do that

Omaha is much more difficult, it is much more complex.
You can lose with a set, a pair and a double.
I like to play Omaha but I prefer to play Holden.
It's hard too, but I find it more exciting, more exciting and you have to use all your skills lol

Yes, exactly, Omaha is a game based on high skills, experience and sustainable experience. For a while I was playing in free tournaments and some days for $10 in one of the casinos in my city. I used to see the Omaha cash game table where the players on it were tournament organizers and big professionals, one of them was called “ roger hairabedian, He is a very calm smiling guy” and his friends are like that, and they were mostly old people, and this shows that Omaha needs these qualities, this indicates that it is not an easy game as it appears ;)

This does not make Texas Holdem an easy game, it is a game full of excitement and passion. And I like it more than Omaha

the omaha is more complex, because you can have a very good hand, but the opponent can beat you, it has happened to me with a full house, among other hands.

Never played Omaha but always wanted to learn. Told myself when NLHE is mastered, them move on to a new game. Funny thing is, never mastered Holdem!

I don't like Omaha,ah,very much, because of its unpredictability.I prefer hold'em more.I've been playing 8 games lately. The prize fund there is $ 100, for $ 1.10, it often turns out to get into the prize places.

Omaha is a fun game. But there are certain things you need to be aware of. Don´t overplay small pairs, lower ends of a straight or non-nut flushs. PLO is a "nut game". Don´t fall in love with aces and try to play hands where all four cards fit together. Also suited aces are strong. And you need to be able to lay down strong hands, if they are not the nuts.

I think the omaha game is more difficult because it requires a lot more attention and calculation, plus it is very difficult to analyze a player's game

I don’t like Omaha, the impact of luck on hand wins is greater in Omaha than in Texas Hold´em poker. The more hole cards in the variant of Omaha you play, the more crucial luck is.
