Do you guys play mostly online or live poker? I find online, at low stakes it's sometimes more bingo than poker. You don't really learn that much, there isn't that much strategy in it, but it's good to practice.
In live poker the big money is in tournaments. And in tournaments you sometimes grind all day and lose flip ( pocket pair versus AK or the other way around). And you end up spending 8-9 hours at poker tables and have nothing to show for.

online poker is more fun, especially if you play with family and friends while drinking some beers, if you lose money you don't feel bad.

Definitely live, though due to limits on free time and cost I play more online. I enjoy the interaction with other people, the feel of the cards and the chips, and the sounds like shuffling and the clickety clack of the chips as you toss them into the betting area. It is also a great feeling to pull in the pot you just won and stack the chips. :)

There are plenty of high stakes cash games in many of the worlds' big casinos...they are not playing for peanuts in Bobby's Room in the Bellagio...you will see many of the top poker pros in the world at any given time there.

The choice between online and live poker depends on your goals: online poker is faster and more convenient for learning and practicing, allowing you to play at multiple tables, while live poker offers a unique atmosphere, psychological confrontation, and the opportunity to learn how to read your opponents. For beginners looking to master the basics and gain extensive experience, online poker is a better choice, while experienced players may prefer live games for a deeper interaction and atmosphere.

Until now, I've only played poker online. I really want to play live poker, I believe it's a more exciting experience.

"I enjoy both, but I’d pick live poker — the atmosphere, reading people, and real interactions make it more exciting. Online is great for volume and speed, but live poker has that special energy you can’t replace."

How right you are. I have fond memories of "dealer's choice" games with co-workers. When I worked for Allied Plywood every Christmas Eve we'd have a game in the office of the warehouse. I've forgotten all the different variations that we'd play, but I can remember all the fun we had. :)

It depends upon what you consider 'low stakes' online. I consider Low as $11 to $33, mid $44 - $109, High $150+ (& micro $0.25 -to- $10)

I've been playing for awhile and I find I still have lots to learn (lots is an understatement) and the more I learn the more I understand I have a long way to go still.

Losing a crucial flip after a long day of playing a tournament is pretty standard for tournament play that's what I like about online... it's not as painful when you have another 4, 5, 10+ tables still running on your screen(s). And as they say "It only takes one"

This question will not have a clear answer because it depends on many factors as well as each person will have different views. As long as you feel it is suitable for yourself, that is fine.
