A man about 50 years old talking to his wife: love why do you waste your time playing poker you know that womans aren't able to beat mens. shhhhhhhhhhh my hair stood up on my arm, I had to calm myself or I would have given him a good slap him or throw him my boots. Anyone thinking the same way?

Even with the current proportion of players in poker, women still make it to final tables, even at events like the wsop. If there were an equal number of men and women at the tables, they would probably be at final tables much more often and win trophies just as often as men.

Hell no. One of the best players in mine and my buddies home game is my buddies wife. She's the only player at the table who kinda low key scares me when we're in a big hand together. When in a hand with her I usually always opt for lines that are more pot controlled. She's really good and hard to read.

Personally I think the avg woman who works, studies and wants to really get good and be good at poker can be better then the avg man. Women seemingly don't let ego or emotion get in the way at the table like most avg men do.

Cheers!!!

I am not sure it is real ;) But anyway, whenever I see someone showing stupidity in such obvious way, it is good to have them at my table ;)

Women can be strong poker players too. Perhaps even more strong if they are similarly good to men, but more likely to not be taken seriously. That's basically halfway to being hustled!

Competitive poker is based on mathematics, psychology, emotional control, and strategy. None of that depends on gender.

Honestly, I don’t agree with that kind of thinking at all. Poker isn’t about being a man or a woman — it’s about skill, discipline, psychology, and decision making. Anyone who studies the game and manages their emotions well can become a strong player.

There are many examples of women who have proven this at the highest level, like Vanessa Selbst, Maria Ho, and Kristen Foxen. Their results clearly show that poker ability has nothing to do with gender.

Sometimes people still carry old stereotypes about poker, but the reality at the tables is very different. In the end, the cards and the decisions are the only things that matter. A good player is a good player, regardless of whether they are a man or a woman.

And honestly, anyone who underestimates their opponents because of something like that is probably giving them a big advantage at the table.

The reality is we’ve already seen plenty of strong female players prove that point at the tables.
The real edge in poker comes from skill and mindset, not stereotypes. Honestly, the best response is usually just letting your play speak for itself.

Of course, the most important thing is to have someone by your side who supports you in all your endeavors and does not leave you in a difficult situation.

Of course, it's nonsense. It's nice to see news that turns such statements upside down, and when women break the mold!!!:D

Poker has nothing to do with gender. It’s a game of skill, patience, and decision-making. There are many strong female players who have proven they can compete with and beat anyone at the table.
Sometimes people still have outdated opinions about poker, but the cards don’t care who you are — only how well you play them.
