Watching some of your favorite players in Twitch is one of the best ways to improve your poker skills.

I try to watch CardsChat poker pros Jeff Gross and Ryan Laplante as often as I can and I learn something every time - it is like getting free coaching.

We have 15 Twitch streams on our Twitch page - check them out and let us know which of these are your favorites and if we are missing any really good ones.

Twitch Poker

Also - for members who are completely new to Twitch - what are some great tips we could add to this page to help them get started?

I only look at Russian and Russian bloggers on Twitch and YouTube channels, well, from the list that are presented, I sometimes watch Gros.

Wished i get so far like him finally. Im new to real money online poker, but i try my best to win challenges and competitions, the streams of jeff gross or any other poker pros could help me to this.

Twitch is not something I have time for , there are so many other videos out there on the internet and it is a lot to try and keep up with.
I watch poker on TV , and see my favorites there , also I am glad for the news articles in Cards Chat to keep me updated to . So, I do not watch Twitch at all.

About 2-3 years ago, I was watching Twitch streams, particularly greek Twitch streams, and mostly cash gamers. After a while I started watching Ilios Kamatakis stream, which was mainly an MTT stream.

Nowadays I don't watch Twitch streams so much, apart from Jeff Gross channel and Lex Veldhuiz channel. It's difficult for the actual streamers to do all these things at the same time: playing poker, engaging with their audience, making fun, etc

And not forget the expensive equipment you need to provide a quality stream.

I still prefer to watch on the Youtube platform the broadcasts, it's more friendly. In Twitch, it's more interesting to creators than the watches, because there the algorithm is still less aggressive.

I'm a rare guest on twitch. rare because I do not have much free time to watch other people's games, and that is, in my opinion it is better to spend with your family or your favorite game of poker. maybe someday I will reconsider my attitude to this type of information, and maybe it will be more interesting to me, just need to hold on to retirement. that's when you can learn all the remaining pleasures of life that have passed me.:D

Thx Debbi. I'd never seen that CC page before. I like how it shows who's online & who's not. I've bookmarked it.

Twitch seems like something that would be very helpful to take advantage of. Unfortunately for me, my computer cannot stream video without constant hesitation and lagging. It's all I can do to get the "Poker in the Ears" password every week. If I could stream video, I would then have to change my internet service package to include more bandwidth.

Online poker players

I really learned a lot watching others play, to me the player that I like to see in Twitch or YouTube is Lex V., a lot of suspense when playing.
tell me who you see online

I have not seen Jeff on twitch, I will have to follow your link! I have watched Spraggy a number of times who is quite conservative in style but very good and has a very good mindset and seen some of the other pros on his stream.

It's a really good way of training really, much better than reading books since it's almost didactic, sometimes you ask why on one hand and they explain it to you pretty well, really free didactic classes, I like to see Lex Veldhuis

Having been a long time member of an online Pokerschool, I was not new to the concept of (almost)live streaming one's poker games. That concept was generalised on the "twitch" platform and now there are many streamers one can follow and enjoy.
The value of these streams is double. You learn how accomplished players think under real circumstances and you have a lot of fun at the same time.

I feel that Twitch is a really helpful tool for those who have the time to spent watching some other online poker players. Very good list but I think you are missing some beasts and I will provide mine down below.

Watching real time which will be the decision is as beneficial as a private coaching. In a coaching you having all the time you need in order to play / analyze with your ranges and your opponent's play but the real challenge is to do that in real time and under pressure.

6] https://www.twitch.tv/easywithaces

There is so much free content and always someone will be streaming! :)

Nice article once again CC :)

the truth that you are right to see our favorite players teaches us many times to improve our game .. there too we can appreciate that not only does the variance leave us out of a tournament .. to see that similar things happen to us it shows us that there are times when luck does not accompany us .. even professionals see similar things to us ... for my Spanish I usually see twich a zeros and pamela balzano.

I know twitch poker, from previous campains of pokerstars, which I did not participate. It is very interesting to watch it when we do not play. It is very good because we can see many things and many situations in front of our eyes, which means informations. It is valuable to watch other players live, their achievements and their mistakes.

Undoubtedly, by watching how successful poker players play, you can improve your game, but unfortunately, most players just watch and do not use what they see in practice and only a very small part of the players draw conclusions and change their game !! ! actually changing your game is very difficult as a chronic disease where a player makes the same mistake many times and thinks that she plays correctly))) for many players (I hope that for me too) this is a very useful topic THANKS !!!

I have to admit, that I am pretty new to twitch and that I also have not so much time, therefore I often watch more youtube, as you always can rewind there and pause.
Well, I am not sure, probably there are also some possibilities to rewatch some captures. But so far I haven't figured out this... Does anybody knows this?
