Bad beats can be frustrating, but they are part of poker.
Even when we play correctly, sometimes we still lose. The important thing is to stay calm and continue playing well.
How do you deal with bad beats?

Bad beats have happened to all of us, on both sides of the table. The hardest part is dealing with them when you start a session already tired or with external problems. In those moments, it’s much more difficult not to get upset, and that frustration can affect your play on other tables, which should never happen, but sometimes it does.

In poker, you really need a strong mindset so these situations don’t impact your overall performance. For me, they don’t affect me very often, but when they do, it can spill over into other tables that shouldn’t be influenced, since each table or tournament is independent.

I think bad beats are one of the hardest parts of poker, especially when you know you played the hand correctly. Over time you have to accept that variance is part of the game.

What helps me is focusing on the quality of my decisions instead of the result. If I made the right decision in the long run, I’m fine with it even if I lose that particular hand. Sometimes taking a short break also helps so the frustration doesn’t affect the next hands.

There are days when we take so many bad beats that we think the poker sites are rigged, but over time we realize that this is normal and everything goes back to normal.

Maybe this is the hardest part of the game.
I think this can be mastered over time. As a beginner, this is very difficult to accept, but that's what makes this game so beautiful. But in fact, if you examine the hands, you have to consciously see during the game whether there could be a stronger combination of cards than yours. If the answer is yes, then you can prepare for the bad beat.

I do not think us mere mortals handle bad beats very well,I know I dont,we all take the 1st one ok,but when you stack up a few it really starts to wear on you,then you play for 3 plus hours and your aces get cracked by somebody who called you with 93 ,I dont think there is a player out there who handles that well.I call b.s

It’s all about the volume for me. If I play enough hands, I know the math will balance out. Bad beats suck, but they are just 'rent' we pay to the fish so they keep coming back to the game!
