Sometimes a good hand is lost because you don't know how to retire in time.
Has it happened to you?
Often new players think of "good hand" as strength of hand preflop--AA for instance. After the flop the hand now has relative strength to the Villains ranges.
Example AA hero Villain BB -flop is 765 single suit. AA is not a strong a "good hand" on this board vs the BB the BB range may have all of the sets- several 2 pair combos and straights already and combo draws.
If the BB wants to play for stacks, then the strength of AA is greatly diminished. Post flop we want to think about ranges and how our hand does vs those ranges.
