At low stakes, people love to call.
So is bluffing even worth it?
Or should we just value bet thin and print?
Curious to hear your thoughts.

It's mostly pointless since most people are calling you with anything. If it's against someone who is capable of folding, then it makes sense. Otherwise, it's waste of money imo.

My straightforward opinion (and that of most MTT grinders who make a living from it): Bluffing loses a lot of value.

Even worse: bluffing often results in -EV.

Why?

Low SPR (usually <4) makes the villain mentally "pot committed." He's already put so much in that he'd rather call and see the river than fold.

His range becomes absurdly wide on the call (any pair, any draw, even A-high).

Your bluff needs to fold ~60-70% of his range to be +EV... and that almost never happens at low SPR.
