Some players write session notes, others use tracking Apps or spreadsheets.
Do you track your results, and has it helped improve your game?

Yeah, tracking helps. Even simple notes or a spreadsheet show leaks and keep you disciplined. But i don't do it, i want to ,but i am too lazy :)

I play on 5 poker sites cause it would be boring otherwise.
I find it easier to make 20$ on 5 different softwares instead of making 100$ on a single site.

A pen and paper is the only spreadsheet I keep , and track how much I have left until I hit my daily target

Been testing a session tracker I found last week and it’s honestly perfect for how I play.
I'm based in Japan, so being able to flip between yen → USD → AUD automatically has made the whole process way cleaner.
I'm still in the red for now, but determined to turn it green!

I feel nostalgic for those times, because no one could even imagine the market outflow to mobile apps, the Chinese poker boom, everything that awaited the poker world and was not expected by regulars at all.I don't keep any journals, it's all in my head.

Since all major poker tracking tools (PT4, HM3, H3N, DH2 and much more) are missing features (the option to set a starting bankroll or add additional deposits) you have to use additional tools. These trackers are good for studies off the table, or using the HUD.
Cheapest way to make good bankroll management is Google docs, other options are free available office suits with an Excel like tool.
There you can set up one table sheet per site/cardroom/Casino you play with data like day played, cash in, cash out and so on.
Another table may contain your bankroll management steps, like Stop/Loss limits, limits for moving up/down in stakes.
Next sheet can have currency conversions if you play with different currencies $, Bitcoin, and so on, these can be updated automatically und used for calculations to the own currency.
On addtional scheet you can make graphical views on your bankroll.
There are also tools available for free or paid that assist you in good bankroll management, not only in poker.

If you're trying to take poker seriously, taking notes and tracking your results is an absolute must.
