I know reviewing sessions is important, but I don’t always do it as often as I probably should.

Sometimes I’ll look back at a few key hands, but not a full session.

Do you regularly review your play, and if so, how do you usually do it?

Yeah, I usually take a little time to look back at my sessions, but how deep I go really depends on what tools I’ve got.
If I’m running a tracker, I’ll poke around the stats, check the big pots, and see if anything weird jumps out.
When I’m just using whatever the poker room offers, the review is more about remembering key hands and thinking through whether my decisions actually made sense.
Even a quick look helps me cool off and not drag tilt into the next session.
It’s nothing super formal, just enough to keep my game sharp and spot habits I want to fix.

I don't because I'm lazy and unprofessional but you definitely should.

in the same way chess players will review their moves after their games to see where they or their opponents made mistakes they could remove or capitalise on in the future you should be doing the same and doing an "After Action Report" for yourself after you play.

We're you hitting the right frequencies for c-betting, did you play that 3-bet pot you were unsure of properly?

All these are things you should be asking yourself if you're trying to seriously improve your game. Revision and modification is the key to rapid improvement.

Not currently... I think with my personal work and tournaments, it's a mental overload. In my case. Maybe if I retire or win an quota at the wsop or EPT, then I'll dedicate myself to studying 24/7 for the tournament.

I do it mentally, and it's very useful, especially to trust those who make the decisions more and not be left with that feeling of “what if I did what I thought was right?”

I try to most games to fix leaks - that's what's great about playing on Replay they have all the hand histories available on the site for the CC games

If not I'm using Hold 'em Manager or Pokertracker - it's just more convenient on a website imo

Make use of Cardschat's hand reviewer/converter too! It's a great tool for reviewing your hands & posting them online

Find it under the
Poker TAB > Poker Tools > Hand Converter
