How big do you raise AA preflop?

Personally I tend to go all in more than anything else, hoping to catch someone with AK or big pair.
But in saying that, I would say the most common thing I SEE others do that works well often is to do a 3 x blind bet if in early position, then if there is a raise go all in pre flop...... if no raise you usually still have the power post flop to make a big move.

If I have most of the chips, I will go for a 3x common bet.

I raise 2,5 or 3 x The pot

in tournaments i am usually short stacked so i just shove in all the chips !

I guess in a serious game vs good players the size must be the same , against fun players or players who don't folde pre flop go as big as you wish

of course in an all in. I love going all-in with AA preflop. I don't always do. but not most of the time yes.

Playing spin and go I raise AA 3x-4.5x because players often like to check with a weak hand.

I go all in with AA to see the flop is often a loser and get to the river in general you will lose with this hand

I've already had many frustrations with AA in the preflop, as I've also seen many defeats of opponents at the tables, so, depending on the day, it's all in

generally 4bet waiting for a reraise to go all in, if someone already reraised will be raising big or shoving

My 'default' is to open 3x BB or raise 3x the open... but of course I pay attention to the type of opponents I have and I might open slightly smaller at a 'tight' table and a bit higher at a 'loose' table... you can't just go all in with AA because you're afraid that your opponent will hit a set lol- with this kind of mentality for sure poker isn't the game for you as with aces you have always 80+ equity preflop and you want a player to 'gamble' against you(and not just pick up the blinds) as on the long run you'll print money against this type of player... but of course ideally- when you have AA you want to play post flop against 1 opponent as multiway it can be tricky to play it...

With aces, if there's no action before you, you make a standard open-raise... only consider raising the bet size if you're at a table where there are a lot of callers, or you know you'll get called by at least 1 player easily.

It will also depend on the usual factors like position, stack size, effective stack, players at the table, tournament stage (if applicable), ICM times...etc

Its depends of villains ofcourse when u have calling stations u do big raises to build pot or sometimes u call to induce a raise when u are in early positions but sometimes ofcourse u get 4 5 calls and then u got in a trouble

When two aces appear in my game, depending on the game, I already go all-in because then you don't give your opponent a chance

I always start with 2 or 3x. If there is a tribet, then I come back with three more times or all-in.

It is a very difficult hand to decide the bet in pre plop, you have to analyze the whole table and the people that make it up. Because if you have an opportunistic player who calls with low hands like 4 6 , 2 3, you have to find the middle ground to prevent these types of players from calling and having a very confusing hand happen where you don't understand their cards and they beat you with two pair. Go down to the access you trusting in your AA.
My answer would be that you analyze the way your opponents play and be very careful after the pre flop, I would look for a bet of 4 BB in a tournament that is already very advanced, and a bigger bet in a tournament that has just started. to avoid the previously named players and at the same time increase the future pot by taking advantage of their good hand.
Clarify that after 4BB before a re-raise from your rival, I would advise an all in preflop, better if it is more than one, so the pot increases more and you have more chances that at least one of the rivals will pay you before your probably winning hand.

You should decide it based on your position and the type of the table. For example, if youre on an aggressive table and you begin, you should make a big raise since maybe many people will call you if you rasie only a few blinds, reducing your odds. If people tend to fold, dont try to raise more than 4-5 blinds or you will get a 2 blind win or les.

I try to stick with a consistent raise amount whether I have a hand or not...sometimes it is tough to resist the temptation to size up with a big hand but if you do, it is a tell and easier for your opponents to guess your hand and use it against you when the flop is low cards.

The raise size preflop should always be the same and not variable depending on the strength of your hand. Otherwise, your opponents will easily guess the strength of your cards.

We generally open raise 3 or 2.5 BB, it depends on the depth of our stack. We can reduce the sizing up to 2 BB if the stack is around 20 to 25 BB.
