How to deal with guys raising big on every street constantly? Live play....

There's a couple guys who play a lot of hands for big bets and I'm not quite sure how to dodge them. Where do want to sit in conjunction to where they are? How do you go about pre flop n post flop raises n calls? Hand ranges, and reads.....what should my plays be based upon my reads on them?

you should make 3 bets with strong hands like aq, ak, or a middle pair or better and try to isolate with these players. you should be patient and wait for a good flop.when you hit a good flop just slowplay your hand making check call or check raise. in most cases you are going to win lots of chips from them. try not to make bluff to them and make big value bets when you hit the flop but there are straight or flush draws. good luck.

I would tend to agree with the previous poster.

Patience is the name of the game with those kinds of players. I personally only hope for one thing when I come across them, and that is that they don't stack a couple people and run. In the long run you stand to gain a substantial amount from players like this.

It will be critical to analyze how they play a little deeper though, and specifically what I mean by that is:
How willing to gamble are they?

If you find they can be bluffed via a 3 or even 4 bet, I would use this a the right time. If however you find they are simply unwilling to fold and have gone to showdown with complete air, these are the ones I am very cautious of.

They're the ones that will call an all-in flop of J-J-J after a 3-bet pre-flop with AK. While it's nice to get that kind of action when you're holding QQ, understand that occasionally the A or K will hit. For these players I much prefer to see the entire board before assessing the hand.

I like to avoid those players as much as possible until i have a good hand. With that said, I believe you should also stick around to the turn a could of hands to show you will fold to his ridiculous bets. Then when you get a set, full boat, or the nuts, you should slow play him. He should be thinking he will be able to push you off your hand, and let him try.

It is a good chance to rise your stack. It is not possible for them to have best hands all the times.

This will always exist, I think you should make a notes of the player's profile and know how to extract the maximum of these players that you have their notes and the style of their game.

I make big raises with nothing or next to nothing because I read the players I'll know that this guy is trying to steal the blind or certain people willing to go in with shit cards example my @10 against his A6...of course he caught the 6 lol

There is a Russian proverb: Wedge-fire with fire. Here it is only applicable to conventional chips, do not lose anything, generator hands online is not true, and 2-3 beats AA. Patience and a little effort

if they always raise, just call them sometimes and see the flop. mostly just call when you are behind them so you get to act last.

I want to sit behind these players and then I'll re-raise their opens with 99+, AK, AQ, JT,T9,98 (obviously there are ifs/ands/buts here depending on earlier action etc.) If I'm last to act or have a good read I won't be squeezed, I'll flat their raises with 22-88, A9-AJ, KT-KQ, QJ,QT, suited connectors 45+ and suited 1-2 gappers 53+

You need to be hyper-vigilant for other players likely to limp/raise from EP when these big-bet players are in LP.

You need to have a bankroll to survive the higher variance these players bring to the game.

You can always wait for a big hand. Most time you don't have good enough cards to call anyway. Always have them on the right.

Wait for a strong hand, it will be you moment, These are the loose-aggressive players, sometimes they are very bad, raising with nothing, sometimes they are very good.

what exactly the range of hands he had to do that?

did u see any showdown?

if range is weak, just call call call, any top pair is not folding to his 3 barrel.
if range is strong, bring deep stack if allowed to bring 300BB just bring it, all in when you have nuts, regardless of stack.

I usually say keep it tight in these situations. Common sense tells you that he can't have it every time. Depending on position as well as what the other players at the table are doing, I might open my range up just a little bit. But if there are other players at the table trying to mix it up with him or trying to out aggress him, then I'm more likely to just lay back and wait for my opportunity to punish him. As has already been pointed out, overly aggressive players are perfect for trapping.
