Hello everyone,

Often I find books, online articles, forum posts, etc. that could help me improve my poker game. However, it seems like I never know if the resource is for cash games or tournament. This is important as I only play tournaments.

What do you guys do to figure out what resource is for what?

If it's not explicitly stated whether it's for cash or for MTT's, the biggest tipoffs are going to involve stack sizes and stack to pot ratios. In cash game discussions, most discussions are going to assume something like 100bb's or more. In MTT game discussions, most discussions are going to assume a "stage" of the tournament, an escalating blind structure, and/or a short stack strategy.
